Merja Kieppi Catering Service
The catering service at Ruhtinansalmi’s village hall caters for special occasions and holidaymakers. Merja Karjalainen serves up delicious and healthy home-cooked food and offers menus that are customised to meet the customer’s wishes. Catering can be provided at the village hall or on the customer’s own premises. The catering service also hires out the Ahonranta cabin, nestled in Ruhtinansalmi’s lakeland scenery, all year round.

Catering service
The Merja Kieppi catering service can provide delicious catering for a holiday home or a picnic basket outdoors in beautiful surroundings. Please place any orders at least one full day in advance.
Guided tours and hikes
Merja Karjalainen is happy to act as a guide on trips to pick wild berries, mushrooms, and herbs. Fishing or hunting trips are also available to order.
Cooking courses
The cooking courses revolve around set themes, such as vegetarian cooking or world cuisines. The courses can be held at the village hall or on the customer’s own premises.
Accommodation
The Ahonranta log cabin is available to rent for 2+5 people. The cabin can be reserved via Lomarengas using site number 6965. Ahonranta is located 35 kilometres away in Hossa national park.

The Wild nature menu is served around a campfire in the forest.
